This book was great!  The imagery and the blood lust rocked!!  😀  I like the portrayal of the types of vampires and only thought they lacked that “super-human” strength we all know them to have when Ramsey tried to rescue Julli the first time.  He did not use any tricks or muscle and fell short when battling with the human servants of the old vampire, Laurent.  I dug the romance, Paris and can’t wait for the next one.  I wanted to find out a little more about when Ramsey levitated.  Was it something that he had to concentrate on?  Could he have climbed a building or two as he was in Paris at night?! ;)> Loved it.  Hope that Camille can stop talking in her head about how she doesn’t think Ramsey loves her or that she was too old or ugly.  If a vampire is offering hot steamy sex, what’s the problem??? Lol.  That undeniable urge when their eyes met or when he was listening to her from a distance away, is fun stuff.  Vampires Rule!

Julli and Camille’s father was adorable, always letting them have their way.  I was very interested and captivated throughout the book and actually read it in a few nights.  I thought this author was tuned into where she wanted the story to go and really got you understanding the way the characters were thinking and why they were doing what they were doing.  It had romance, excitement, and some sadness and most importantly drew the reader in.  As stated, the descriptions were great, maybe a bit more planning on the first fight would have been helpful but all together very fun to read.
