Summary: It’s a comedy of errors when Laura prepares a romantic dinner for Mila’s birthday. Laura isn’t the world’s best cook to begin with, but when everything goes wrong in the immaculate home Mila’s supposed to be house sitting, the trouble’s only just begun. Laura and Mila wanted an evening of domestic bliss. Will their glimpse at adult life drive them into each other’s arms or drive them apart completely?
Review: Super short story of Laura and Mila. It’s Mila’s birthday and Laura, decidedly undomestic, is going to make her dinner. They are staying at her aunt’s house and it’s their first chance to try being an adult couple.
It really is a comedy of errors, anything that can go wrong does. They bicker back and forth and so appear incredibly realistic as a teen couple. Laura has more money than Mila, and Mila’s insecurity about that comes through. She wants Laura to be impressed by something in her life and its takes a bit for her to realize what Laura is impressed with. Namely, Mila.
Cute and funny young adult quickie.
