Zombies attack a monastery!! At  least I think they were zombies.Or possessed people. Either way, in The Lake Of Fire, not many brothers are left standing when a 10th century abbey is attacked by the zombies. They rip apart bodies and bludgeon and disembowel people left and right, causing mass destruction. It seems like the whole town is afflicted. After he is rescued by Brother Wilfrid, Alric runs to the library to await his inevitable fate. Brother Wilfrid soon joins him and together they share the night until daybreak when Alric assumes he will face the devil. They share secrets, and, uh, that’s about it. I was bored.

This was a very hard story to review. Being that it was only fifteen pages, I feel that it could have been longer. I feel that it was incomplete. I really wasn’t emotionally involved with the characters. Brother Alric keeps referring to the Devil, but it would have been nice to see the creature make an appearance. That might have made this story more interesting. But because there was no big boogie man appearance and just can’t rate this a 3 hearts or higher.
