This is the first entry to a very promising new series. The novella “ Bonfire” a sequel to this book is a must read , which further development the story line and these two amazing characters. This book is extremely well written, there are great plot points and twist, and two well-thought out characters. The implausible is made plausible. The relationship between Sara and Thaddeus slowly develops, even though they are totally a product of their times. The demons may attack and be vanquished, the White Monks meddle; but these two find their own way throughout the book to find love and romance.
