Review: Joseph Lance Tonlet – Wes’s Denial (Tease and Denial #2)

Wes has spent his life looking for that one special guy who will understand and love him—all of him. From his tender vanilla side, to his darker debauched side.

Throughout high school, his successful career in the Marines, and as a BDSM Dom, he’s remained confident his partner is out there waiting to be found.

However, several events shake his normally unflappable self–assurance.

And, even after he finds Grif, will his past catch up with him and possibly drive his soul mate away?

So, it took me nearly three weeks to write this review because… yeah, let’s just say I was feeling pretty raw after finishing the book and needed time to let my emotions settle (damn you, JLT). I’m giving this 5 whole hearts and an extra broken one (mine) for good measure.

“Wes’ Denial” was everything I’d hoped for and waited for – and then some. After meeting Wes and Grif in “Grif’s Toy”, I fell head over heels in love with these guys and couldn’t contain my enthusiasm for a second helping. With liberal doses of vanilla, chocolate, and even a new soft chocolate, my taste buds were over the top happy. But seriously, the emotional connection between them is what this book is all about. You can’t help but feel the love, feel the yin and yang of their dynamic, and just know to the very depths of your soul that they were meant for one another – made for one another.

I could go on, and on, and on… with high praise for everything that is unique and special about this series, but I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone, so let me end with this: Now is not the time to explore your masochistic tendencies by denying yourself the pleasure of this masterpiece. Instead, be a good little submissive and accept everything this book has to offer (even if it makes you cry, and I’m pretty sure it will). Genius!!
