Summary: Parker Knowles needs a date. No, really. If he can’t find one by Valentine’s Day, he’s agreed to let his sister fix him up. And quite frankly, he’d rather chew off his own arm than go out with someone of his sister’s choosing.

Internet phenom, Lane Steadman, has offered to show Parker the art of the perfect selfie. After all, an outstanding dating profile is useless without a topnotch photo, right?

Can love really be found on the Internet? Or is a real-world connection closer to Parker than he thinks?
Review: First I have to say – I liked this so much more than I thought I would! It’s short, funny and adorable. Parker is sweet and his big sister only wants him to not be lonely. So to end her trying to fix him up, they make a deal that he will find his own date by Valentine’s Day or he has to go out with whoever she chooses.
Problem is, Parker isn’t really the best at painting himself in the best possible light. As his friend, Seth, says, “You look kinda, I dunno, clenched.” Luckily, Seth has connections with his cousin, Lane, who is a social media celebrity and does awesome selfies. If anyone can help Parker, Lane can.
So Lane is out to get the perfect picture of Parker, and Parker is out to both avoid the pervy Martin at work while he finds someone he can date to keep his sister off his back. So Lane helps out with the Netflixandchill profile and Parker slowly falls for Lane. Since Lane has always dated girls, well, the chances are slim. Right?
This is a short story that I thought was just cute and I loved the way Lane got Parker to get some great pics. They are both endearing and there is no angst to the story, just light and charming.
