What do you think of friends with benefits – do you think it more often ends with the friendship lost or becomes more?

I’ve never had a bona fide “friends with benefits” relationship, but from what I saw in others, it seemed to lead to way too much drama. One person would get emotionally involved while the other didn’t or something equally as awkward and painful. That’s why I never did it.
