The prized possession you value above all others…
Hard to say. I have things that I love for different reasons, but I’m more about people than possessions. I value my family and friends above everything. If I had to choose right at this moment, it would be my baby brother’s sailor cap. He died in 2014; far too young at 32.
The unqualified regret you wish you could amend…
Not telling loved ones how much they meant to me before they died.
The temptation you wish you could resist…
Chocolate. I swear it calls my name even when I’m asleep. It’s evil; yet, sinfully delicious.
The book that holds everlasting resonance…
Special Forces. It’s a powerful, gritty life story that ripped my emotions into tatters. I laughed, bawled like a baby and got mad enough to want to rip things apart with my bare hands.
The priority activity if you were invisible for a day…
Sneaking aboard any plane headed for England and surprising V.L.
The film you can watch time and time again…
Armageddon. I love Harry Stamper and cry every damn time he tells his daughter good-bye.
The person who influenced you the most…
My mother. She is the strongest woman I know. She’s fiercely proud of her family, more protective than any grizzly bear with her cubs and not afraid to fight for her beliefs. She raised me to be a strong, independent thinker who takes the world by the balls and to do things my own way instead of the what’s accepted as the norm. She supports all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in whatever dreams they have. She’s always there to cheer us on, provide arms to catch us and shower us with a love so unconditional it’s never questioned.
The unlikely interest that engages your curiosity…
Everything except cooking and numbers.
The poem that touches your soul…
Love by Roy Croft
The event that altered the course of your life…
This is going to sound crazy, but it was buying the first book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Through that series, I met V.L. and an entire host of friends that I never would have met otherwise. I wouldn’t have joined the BDB fanfiction group where I met V.L. I wouldn’t have met the friends or made the connections I did in that group. I would have never believed I could write, let alone become a published author. The brothers and the friends I’ve made because of them gave me the strength to face the end of a tweny year marriage and to start out new, find my true soul mate and embark on a journey that’s led me here.
The song that means the most to you…
There are too many favorites to answer this one. Different songs for different reasons and different occasions. I love Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes.
The happiest moment you will cherish forever…
The births of my children and grandchildren.
The unfulfilled ambition that continues to haunt you…
I’m pretty happy with my life with the exception of being separated from V.L. Maybe, having one of our books made into a movie.
Your early recollections of writing fiction…
It would have to be in school writing papers for my English teachers. They were always wanting us to write something. One of the most memorable was a journal entry given in high school. We had to write about being one half of a pair that had lost it’s mate. I wrote about being the one sock left in the basket…we all know that one sock that loses it’s mate. It was a fun to write and still makes me smile when I think about it.
The way you would spend your fantasy 24 hours, with no travel restrictions…
Hmm, I’d snatch V.L. up and head for the Highland castles in Scotland.
The pet hate that makes your hackles rise…
Whining, especially from grown ass adults.
The unqualified regret you wish you could amend…
Not going to see Nathan every time I could when he moved to Tennessee.
The figure from history you would most like to buy a pie and a pint…
The piece of wisdom you would pass onto a child…
Dream big and never stop chasing those dreams.
The crime you would commit knowing you could get away with it…
Something involving the increase of my bank account.
The philosophy that underpins your life…
Don’t sweat the small stuff.
The character you enjoyed writing the most…
I love writing Lachi. He’s a part of me. I really have a soft spot for Vischeral because he’s my first independent character. And, Shaver. He’s so sweet and shy but so strong down deep where it counts.
The character you found difficult to write…
None of them have been terribly difficult, but have to go with Lachi again. He can be quite stubborn when it comes to spilling his emotions.
The book you enjoyed planning/writing the most…
Definitely the Crimson Nights Saga. All of the books are tied together and the characters have been with us a long time. It’s amazing to see them come to life on the page.
And the promo…
The Crimson Nights Saga is an epic adventure of love, greed, hatred and triumph. I’ve loved creating the world and bringing the characters to the page. Some days have been struggle and headache, but most have been pure pleasure. Through the process of writing this series, we’ve had the support and love of so many wonderful friends, bloggers, beta readers and family. I appreciate all of you. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you. We love you and we promise book four will be coming soon!

Meet the Authors
Multi-genre romance and fiction writing duo V.L Moon and J.T Cheyanne span a continental divide to bring together their love, support, and admiration for the LGBT communities they belong to. With their ever growing families’ support, they make the most of what little time they have to write the love, angst, and turmoil that hopefully reflects the struggle that is, modern day life.
